California Poppies

Vivid orange California Poppies (Eschscholzia californica) in the raised demonstration beds. On the left is the 50-foot pictorial exhibit describing Luther Burbank’s life and work and the history of the property.

Shasta daisies (Leucanthemum x superbum) bloom with Jupiter’s Beard (Centranthus ruber) near the Memorial Garden.

Peruvian Lily (Alstroemeria) grows in the north demo beds near the Carriage House.

Daylily (Hemerocallis) blooms in the corner along Santa Rosa Ave & Charles St.

Torch Lily (Kniphofia ‘Red Hot Poker’) also blooms in the front corner.

Siberian Iris (Iris siberica ‘Tealwood’) can be found along the fence on Santa Rosa Ave, and in front of the Greenhouse.

Knotweed (Persicaria capitata) grows along the Charles St side.

Rose Arbor

Admire hybrid tea roses, climbing roses, and roses developed by Luther Burbank in the Rose Garden.
